About Healing Sounds Music Therapy
Healing Sounds Music Therapy
was created to provide quality Music Therapy services to those in need
in the Richmond area. Music
Therapy is an appropriate medium because music is accessible and
motivating. Our bodies are rhythmically organized, from our blood flow,
to our heart beats, the firing of neurons in the brain, to the rhythm
that we walk. Music is everywhere! It’s on in the background at our
favorite restaurant, in the grocery store, on your favorite television
show, and accompanies the movies we watch. Here at
Healing Sounds Music Therapy,
we use music as a vessel to change behavior, reduce anxiety, manage
pain, provoke emotions, organize thoughts and bring people together.
Our goal is to bring peace,
harmony, and joy to each of the individuals and families we work with.
We hope that we can help our clients through the power of music on their
journey towards success and lead fulfilling lives.
